In February 1977, Msgr. C. E. McTamney announced that $238,000 was in reserve to build a Parish Center. Albert Salem was the architect and Lloyd Blaylock Construction Co. was contacted to build the center. The cost was $855,000 with an additional $70,000 for the architect. The Tschoepe Center was completed in the fall of 1979.
