
Preparation For First Holy Communion
We are excited to assist your family as you prepare your child to receive their First Reconciliation and their First Holy Communion!

Children attend weekly classes with their parents for two consecutive years to prepare to receive Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

Classes are offered on Sundays.

1st-3rd Grade classes are offered either in Spanish or English
​
4th-12th Grade classes are offered only in English for children. Parent meetings and classes are offered in either Spanish or English.

Children with Special Needs also meet on Sundays. Please fill out the form above and indicate that your child has adaptations at school.

If your child attends St. Monica Catholic School they will be prepared for First Holy Communion in 2nd grade. Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you have any questions.

If your child is a student in 3rd-8th grade at St. Monica Catholic School please contact Christina Harmon: charmon@stmonicaschool.org

Parents who homeschool their children using a Catholic curriculum may qualify for home-based catechesis. Please contact Maria Jones for more information: mjones@stmonicachurch.org
